Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: [DATE].
I want everyone who visits this website, including people with disabilities, to be able to find and understand the information they need. This site has been built with accessibility as a core requirement rather than an afterthought.
What I've done
- Used semantic HTML with clear headings, landmarks and a "skip to content" link.
- Ensured text and background colours meet WCAG 2.2 AA contrast requirements.
- Made sure the site can be navigated using a keyboard alone, with visible focus indicators.
- Written form fields with clear, associated labels and helpful hints.
- Used a responsive layout that reflows for phones, tablets and screen magnification and supports browser text resizing.
- Respected the "reduce motion" setting for anyone sensitive to animation.
- Avoided using colour alone to convey meaning.
Known limitations
I'm aware of the following current limitations and am working to address them:
- The portrait photograph placeholder needs a final, descriptive alt text once the professional photo is added.
- Video or audio content, if added in future, will include captions or transcripts.
Standard
This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at Level AA.
